Without rehashing details, I have no problem with the statement you are promoting with this post. Helps promote your cause.

Going back to the previous picture of Obama with the baby, I had a question for you. If you were to come across a poster such as this that showed the former Pope kissing a baby with the caption “He’s going to make an excellent altar boy, Father Jacob is going to just love that sweet bottom” offensive? I would. Yet it does bring to light the sexual abuse and cover-up in the Catholic Church.

If you agree that the picture of the pope would be offensive, I would hope you at least understand why I found the one of Obama offensive.

Joe, fair question. Yes, I would be offended by the pic of the Pope as you described it. The Church has acknowledged its sin. Most of the abuse took place twenty or more years ago. Eighty percent of it was homosexual in nature. They have cracked down with a vengeance, to the point that credible abuse claims in the past ten to fifteen years is but a handful. The president, on the other hand, is an aggressive proponent of human abortion, characterizing unwanted pregnancies as “mistakes” which should end in the human abortion of the person in the womb. He has imposed this view on taxpayers through various backdoor schemes to fund human abortion.

In other words, the Church has always been against homosexual abuse of adolescents, but did a bad job of protecting the flock decades ago … and has fixed it.

Obama has always been for human abortion, and has done a good job (from your point of view) of expanding it.

The Church has atoned. Obama hasn’t.

Like I said before, most people find abortion (at least in some cases) justifiable. Medical science supports it. Even the Bible clearly states that life begins at first breath. If you are for banning all abortion, you are definitely in the minority.

The same can not be said of pedophilia. All sane people oppose it. When it is someone in power, it is even more heinous. Not only did the leadership in the Catholic Church cover up these highly illegal acts, they kept these pedophiles free to strike again. Any other organization would have been shut down. I hope it has stopped but once again, we must rely on the church to oversee the church, and that clearly did not work before.

Who speaks for the victims of these crimes? How do you think they and their families / friends feel knowing that these attackers got away with it because of the power of the Catholic Church? Jus how did they actually “fix it”?

    Tom,

That poster has a very powerful thought provoking message and reminds me too, of what God has said in His word, and to be very careful how one may judge or not Judge.

For in Matthew7:2 is states; “For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4″Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye?…

    Matthew 7:5
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

    And in;

    Romans 2:1
You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

If, we indeed as a nation, filled with people who know better, continue not to speak out for that in which we believe, the message that is in Jonathan Cahn’s book “The Harbinger” (which buy the way is being read by many people in congress), will likely come true much sooner that people expect.

http://www.TwinTowersii.com is about building the Towers again in a very publicly tangible way, in an effort to help bring back our nation to following God’s word once again. For such a time as this, it may be our last hope.
