Atheists pit faith against reason.
Their religion states that faith and reason are mutually exclusive, while different religions, Christianity for instance, views faith and reason as complementary.
And yet reason leads us to God. As Dr. Peter Kreeft, a leading philosopher and Christian apologist explains, it takes a bigger leap of faith NOT to believe in a Creator of the universe … than to believe.
Watch. You’ll enjoy Dr. Kreeft’s clear reasoning.

“…But this causal chain cannot go backwards forever.” “It must have a beginning.” “There must be an unmoved mover to begin all the motion in the Universe.”
Why must there be a beginning to movement? Just as believers have faith that God has existed forever, non-believers have faith that matter has existed forever. Our known universe, that which we can see, may have come into existence 13.7 billion years ago, but that does not mean that matter did not exist before that. It just can’t be known to us with our current knowledge and technology.
Certainly, faith in the existence of God is not more rational than faith in the existence of matter.

Kurt, sorry, I didn’t see this comment until today. It is great to hear from you. To your point, your supposition is a leap of faith, since it flies in the face of the laws of science. Physics suggest everything has a “first mover.” The first movement has to come from somewhere, says science. Or else it comes from an Intelligent Designer. I stand by my earlier statement, it takes a very big leap of faith to believe as you do. Thanks for writing. Hope all is well with the Johnsons.

I’m definitely a Kreeft fan, and have read several of his books. This was a fantastic clip: Atheism requires more faith than Belief– what a wonderfully ironic and wholly logical conclusion! Thanks for sharing.
