The unrelenting insincerity of Barack Obama

I believe in vacations.

Vacations rejuvenate us. They make us more productive. That’s why I’m a little less critical of President Obama’s prolific golf and vacation schedule than many conservatives. He really has a pressure-cooker job.

However, what is tough to handle is the shameless insincerity of Barack Obama on this, and so many other issues.

Then-Senator Obama intoned on a television interview how a president has to give up vacations and leisure.

The suggestion is that a ‘President Obama’ would really have his nose to the grindstone 24/7.

Impressive.

Now-President Obama obviously didn’t mean it. The statement, which you can watch in the video clip above, was simply a prelude to the smooth, unrelenting insincerity that defines the man.

Mr. Obama doesn’t scrimp on golf, vacations, or leisure.

He says what he thinks you want to hear, knowing he can get away with it when he reneges.

I know this statement is trite, but imagine how George W. Bush would have been crucified if he had said the same thing.

Insincerity is a pretty kind word. I’d call it hypocrisy, personally. Not sure we’ve EVER had a more hypocritical president than Obama.

    1. Vacations and his criticism of Bush.
    2. Criticism of Bush’s wielding of executive power with his use of executive orders.
    3. Claim that his will be the most transparent administration.
    4. Claim that he will end the backbiting and partisanship in Washington, and then shutting out the Republicans from the health care debate.

I could go on and on.
