“You are an infidel, you deserve to die”

“Dialogue with Islam is an illusion,” says Andrew Bieszad.
Mr. Bieszad “has an MA in Islamic Studies from Hartford Seminary with concentration in the Islamic equivalent of Dogmatic Theology. He is the author of Lions of the Faith: Saints, Blesseds, and Heroes of the Catholic Faith in the Struggle with Islam. He relates this conversation that took place on his first day of seminary at Hartford Seminary:
“I had done interfaith dialogue before, so this was not a new experience for me. We were separated into groups for the dialogue, and when I was permitted to speak, I said, “I am Catholic, and I do not believe in Islam.” Following me, one of the Muslim students spoke. She said that she was Muslim, and then she addressed me directly. In a soft, Arabic accented voice, she told me, “You are an infidel because you do not accept Islam. According to Islam, you do not deserve to live.” A second Muslim student heartily agreed, and after repeating the first student’s comments she added, “In Islam, the Koran and the tradition of the prophet are very clear about this. You deserve to die.”
Kind of tough to “dialogue” with a gun pointed at your head.
And yet I read all this talk about how bad Jews are. In this country, the Left reviles Christianity. These same folks doing all of the reviling of Judeo-Christian values bend over backward to make excuses for Islamic atrocities. The have adopted a position of “moral equivalency” which suggests that Judeo-Christian values are no better than Islamic ones because, after all, Christians and Jews do bad stuff, too.
How many people have Christians and Jews killed IN THE NAME OF GOD this year?
None.
How many people have Muslims killed IN THE NAME OF ALLAH this year?
2429 human beings are dead in the name of Allah, this year alone. In addition, another 2028 are wounded in 272 terrorist attacks and 37 suicide bombings.
Islam continues to terrorize the world in the name of Allah, and the Left makes excuses for them.
