    That’s what the last pope said. It would seem to me that the current pope has a different opinion.

      1. St. John Paul II was not the last pope; it was Benedict XVI.

      2. Pope Francis has made it pretty clear that he upholds the Church’s teaching on marriage. Get past the media soundbites and out-of-context quotes and read what he has actually said many times on the matter.

    Yes, his “not judging” comment only pertains to the eternal lives of others. As we know, Tom, the Church has never claimed that knowledge. Pope Francis, upholds the Ten Commandments as the Church always has. So many on the Left and the Invincibly Confused are looking for any out-of-context which might imply otherwise. — Tony

      Yes, the “whom am I to judge?” comment confused some on the Left, and gave others an excuse to believe that social issues are no big deal.
