Depravity – now there’s a word too little used these days. God bless!

The word should be invoked more often. Thanks for writing.

I couldn’t agree more. People have seemingly stopped using their OWN brains and have allowed media and others to be their conscience. They don’t Rock The Boat and don’t want to appear Politically Incorrect to others. They then justify their actions based on a world gone mad. How can anyone TRULY believe that taking a life is OK and that they should be allowed to because it is THEIR BODY? It is God’s body, I believe, and they are simply borrowing it, but that is a different article, LOL.

Yes, “The word should be invoked more often,” but, sadly, they run from it like it is a hot poker… I pray for those trapped in ‘his’ grip.

Not to open up another can of worms, lol, but I have been using both the words “depravity” and “perversion” for the past six years on the Catholic and Christian forums and web blogs regarding homoerotic perversion. Some of the members of some of these blogs have not been too appreciative and have tried to get me removed. Some have succeeded. But, as you can see, Tom, it hasn’t stopped me from sharing the truth. Some of the Catholic commentators and moderators can be pretty vicious and they remind me of sinners who will defend their sins like secular humanists do, as if their lives depended on blocking out certain truths. Dr. Carson is so full of heart and empathy and the truth. Maybe God is ready to remove His harsh judgment, Barack Obama and his ilk, from us.

Interestingly, Lorra, what is considered “perverse” any more is saving sex for marriage between one man and one woman.
