I’ve actually had thoughts about this today, before even seeing this.

We put the RNC into majority positions in the House and Senate with promisses they would stop OBAMA and the PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT in America and instead they joined forces with the LEFT.
How could Trump be any worse?
Both sides of the isle are LIEING in fear of the guy they can’t control. I follow all of this close enough that I have even seen someone I respect greatly; LIEING and deceiving about Trump as he pushes Cruz and that’s Mark Levin.
All I can say is we all better vote for whomever is at the top of the Republican ticket or it’s all over in America. Those who stayed home rather than vote Romney (who I hate) gave us another four years of Obama’s tyranny.
The word out here in the FAIRTAX World is that Trump is looking seriously at the great benefits of Totally eliminating INCOME TAX which will save America. And if you don’t know that our greatest threat to America is our National Debt you need to do a little research here: FAIRTAX.org

I love the Fair Tax. But I wouldn’t want to see it passed UNLESS the income tax were repealed by repealing the 16th Amendment. The Fair Tax is brilliant, but most politicians would hate it because it would diminish their power. Thanks for writing, John. You make some good points.

That’s the one area I disagree with most FAIRTAXERS. I feel the Repeal of the 16th Amendment needs to be first and at that point any consumption tax would work although the FAIRTAX has everything pretty well worked out and would be “turn key”.
