Conservatives, are you ready to be intimidated even more?
By Tom Quiner
It’s going to get worse.
Conservative groups have been subjected to a shocking level of political intimidation during the Obama years. Imagine what it’ll be like under the back alley tactics of the Clintons.
Imagine what it’ll be like if Democrats regain control of the Senate with the likes of Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders controlling the levers of power.
Think I’m joking? Watch Prager University’s video above presented by the Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly Strassel. If you’re having a hard time justifying a vote for Donald Trump, this video may soften you up.
Ms. Strassel presents three tactics used by the left to intimidate conservatives into submission: 1. Harrass; 2. Investigate and prosecute; and 3. Blackmail.
She leaves out their fourth tactic: censor.
This takes subtle forms by their allies in the media, most notably in what they refuse to cover in their news reports. A couple of glaring examples: the news blackout on the Kermit Gosnell House of Horrors a few years ago, and last year’s revelation that Planned Parenthood enriched their coffers by peddling fetal body parts.
It takes a different form on social media, such as Youtube, which is owned by Google. They placed the following videos, as described by Dennis Prager, on the restricted list, you know, the equivalent of porn:
–Two videos on race: “Are The Police Racist?” and “Don’t Judge Blacks Differently.”
–Six videos on Islam: “What ISIS Wants,” “Why Don’t Feminists Fight for Muslim Women?” “Islamic Terror: What Muslim Americans Can Do,” “Pakistan: Can Sharia and Freedom Coexist?” “Radical Islam: The Most Dangerous Ideology” and “Why Do People Become Islamic Extremists?”
–Two videos on abortion (the only two offered): “Who’s More Pro-Choice: Europe or America?” and “The Most Important Question About Abortion.”
–Two videos on Israel: “Israel: The World’s Most Moral Army” and “Israel’s Legal Founding” (the latter video, presented by Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz, was reinstated after much publicity).
–Three videos on America: “Why Did America Fight the Korean War?” “Did Bush Lie About Iraq?” and “What is the University Diversity Scam?”
–One on politics: “Who NOT to Vote For.”
–And one on men and women: “He Wants You” (a video I present about men and women).
These videos scrape up against liberal theology on issues of child sacrifice (human abortion); American exceptionalism; and Israel.
Liberals do view conservative positions on these subjects as pornographic. They have become increasingly comfortable, no, make that brazen, in restricting conservative free speech on these subjects.
Under the new Clinton administration, it will go from bad to worse.
We’ve reached the tipping point in America – the choice is Life or Death, Freedom or Tyranny, Redemption or Judgement. My vote is for Life, Freedom, and Redemption. Soli Deo gloria!
You’re got more faith in our Republican nominee than I, Art, but we both have equal faith in what Ms. Hillary intends for America, which you have accurately described above.
It’s not so much that I have faith in him, rather I think he’s the only one who has even the remotest chance to change the direction of our country.
My hope and prayer is that God has raised up this most unlikely man for “such a time as this.” We’ll see soon enough.
The best I can do is pray and help get out the vote. The rest is in God’s hands.
It’s not so much that I have faith in him, rather I think he’s our country’s last best hope to the direction of our country.
I also think that, contrary to the pundits, he’s the only one who had a chance to beat Hillary.
Has God raised up this most unlikely man “for such a time as this?” I certainly hope so, otherwise America is on the fast track to its Day of Judgement.
At this point, I can only pray and help get out the vote. God will let us all know soon enough.
As Msgr. Charles Pope of the Archdiocese of Washington wrote in a recent National Catholic Register: “Preparing for Persecution” subtitled: “Comfort Catholicism Has to Go”
Ms Strassel is a light in a dark, Dark, DARK political world. Thanks for sharing this. I hope “someday” to read Intimidation game.
Sorry for the double post. Thought the first one didn’t go through.
Well, they weren’t the exact same, so I put up both.
