The system IS rigged

imagesWhy are people so angry?

Clearly, Donald Trump has tapped into something profound. So did Bernie Sanders. Donald Trump expresses it this way: ‘the system is rigged.’

It’s hard to argue with his premise.

In 1973, the elected legislatures of 46 states had passed laws that protected the rights of the unborn. But with the flick of a pen, the Supreme Court eliminated all protective regulations for the human beings in the womb, despite the public’s overwhelming democratic recognition of their rights.

The author of Roe v Wade, Harry Blackmun refused to even discuss the humanity of the individual in the womb with these words:

“We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins. When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man’s knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer.”

This statement reveals that the system is rigged.

The Science of Embryology identifies that at conception, we have a unique, living, growing human being. The only question we’re left with is how one defines personhood. The fix was in. Roe v Wade was not decided on the basis of Constitutional law, but on behalf of the power brokers on the Left.

A similar scenario unfolded on the issue of so-called ‘gay marriage.’ The elected representatives of the people, the Congress, passed the Defense of Marriage Act and the president signed the bill into law which simply defined marriage as the union between one man and one woman. It simply acknowledged the timeless principle in Western Civilization that marriage is about the fruit of the union of a man and a woman, not the lifestyle fad of the day.

Even more, 25 states passed their own legislation banning same-sex marriage, again in recognition of timeless tradition among civilized peoples. Mind you, the law didn’t discriminate against people with same-sex attractions. They were free to marry someone of the opposite gender, just as people with opposite-sex attractions were prevented by law from marrying someone of the same gender.

In other words, secular marriage was all about function, not feelings.

Once again, with the stroke of a pen, the Court undid democracy and imposed a draconian new religion on the people. In particular, people of Christian faith have been sanctioned and even economically martyred by this system Donald Trump calls rigged. It really is hard to disagree in light of such an egregious court decision.

And then there is Obamacare.

The public didn’t want it. Public opinion polls consistently before, and since, its passage, have shown its popularity as less than 50%.

In a stunning act of political chutzpah, then Speaker of the House, Nance Pelosi, said we’d have ‘to pass Obamacare to see what was in it.’ It was critical that the public NOT know what was in it, according to the architect of the plan, Jonathan Gruber:

“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. Call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically, that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”

Mr. Gruber was paid $400,000 for his advice.

We were promised under Obamacare that our premiums would be cut in half; that we’d be able to keep our current plan if we like it; that we could keep our current doctor; and that we wouldn’t have to pay for human abortion.

All ended up being lies.

The system was rigged.

Love Donald Trump or hate him (and I veer closer to the latter), his assertion that the system is rigged against the little guy really, really resonates.

Hillary Clinton promises more of the same … in spades.

Americans cant pretend anything was done TOO them ANYMORE. We have a nation that was directed by the citizenry for a long time. The movers and shakers have always tried to have their ways, but then the bought some portion of the electorate. the elites didnt steal ANYTHING. they BOUGHT it. People did what was easy. they sat home for elections, took the free $$$, and demanded help to deal w/ every aspect of life’s difficulties. Now people are sooo afraid to light out on their own anymore. Now the elites have us where they have always wanted us. Unwillingness to analyze the possible outcomes of decisions and actions has done this. The elite dont refer to the “stupidity of the American people” for nothing. Americans have gone by the liberal playbook w/o having to be told to. We did it on our own. If hurting yourself and your kids to benefit others w/o having to even be told to isnt stupid, I dont know what is. When we get the likes of Stalin in charge, we will have to admit we did it to OURSELVES. The unwillingness to hold ourselves to any real standards in how we live is how we got here and we will get there.
