Are Black people as dumb as liberals think they are?

By Tom Quiner

Sorry for the provocative headline.

No, Black people aren’t dumb. On the other hand, honorable people can debate the common sense and sagacity of liberals.

I post the video above by Ami Horowitz for your viewing pleasure. You need to see it in light of the email I received from the head of the Democratic Party, Tom Perez:

“Tom – Last week, Donald Trump signed an executive order creating a “Presidential Commission on Election Integrity” — if you’re rolling your eyes at the idea of “Donald Trump” and “integrity” in the same sentence, you’re not alone.

Like so much of what the Trump administration has done, this commission is a sham. It stems from Trump’s ongoing complaint that there were between 3 and 5 million “illegal” votes that cost him the popular vote in last year’s election (which, by the way, is completely ridiculous — you’re more likely to find someone who’s been struck by lightning than committed in-person voter fraud).

We know the truth behind this new commission. It’s a propaganda factory designed to justify the GOP’s ongoing efforts to make it harder for people of color, working families, students, and seniors to exercise the right to vote.

Look no further than the man Trump put in charge — Kris Kobach, who has devoted his career to lying about voter fraud in order to keep African American and Latino voters from the polls. He’s been the architect of some of the most restrictive voting laws in the country. Now he’s in charge of “election integrity?” Give me a break.”

Do you think Black people are too dumb to get an ID, carry an ID, or to use the internet? The only people who think that way seem to be Democrats.

The Black people interviewed above by Mr. Horowitz scoff at the assertions made by elite, White, liberal students at Berkely that Black men and women are too stupid to function in our society.

Give me a break, Mr. Perez.

Hmm. The party of the people? And they call us conservatives, RACISTS? HOW DUMB ARE YOU, LIBERALS? Sorry, but I had to vent. Thank you for sharing.

This may sound mean, but libs have not gained this perspective in a vacuum. When one insists on endless amounts of help to “even” the field, and insist that the expectations are unfair in education and corporate settings, one may expect people to assume that a group is less than capable. When one is usually appealing to a group w/ limited interactions outside their own circle, one must know that they will buy the line w/o question and exactly as it is presented. When do intelligent minority people stop allowing the race baiters to speak for all minority/poor people? Look who these libs have telling them of the problems of minorities to succeed. They hear the likes of Washington dems and Jesse Jackson and more CONSTANTLY spouting the need for much help for these groups. It DOES paint a picture of helplessness. If minorities dont want to be seen as incapable, THEY must stand up and demand these shills shut up speaking for them. As a young woman in the military 30 yrs ago (still a very male and machismo environment at the time), I made it a point to work VERY HARD to see to it I could do the same work as my male counter parts. I trained hard to outrun a lot of guys and pretty much all women. Only a couple of times was I unable to make my 5 ft 5in/ 110 lb frame do something I needed to do. I would not ask for help, but when I needed it and got it, I did not scream sexism. If one wants to be seen as capable, one MUST be acting capable AT ALL TIMES and NEVER let anyone speak FOR you. THIS poor image is the result of people hearing how incapable a group they almost never interact w/ is of functioning. Minorities need to have speakers tell the world they can do EVERYTHING everyone else does, and W/O special help. Anything else invites what we saw above. I could have acted like I needed all sorts of extra help to make serving fair for me ( I saw other women do it), and NO man i worked w/ would have taken me seriously. THAT doesnt work if one want to gain rank and authority and function. I took the hard road and was treated very equal by my male cohorts. Sometimes they treated me a little too much like one of the boys. (Oh, the language and jokes). i know this was a long a rant, but people often miss the obvious fix to problems,

This was quite enlightening and very well-written. It’s refreshing to read a post discussing this narrative outside of its ordinary demographic. Thanks for sharing this!
