A true champion! Forty-plus years ago, I first heard this philosophy when I was attending the Jesuit high school in Cincinnati (St. Xavier). At a pep rally, the priest said we do not pray for victory because we have no right to ask God to pick us in an unimportant event such as a football game. Rather, we pray that our guys play to the best of their ability, sportsmanship prevails and that no one on either team is injured.
Peyton is a great one, on and off the field.

Ironically, one of my brothers-in-law graduated from the same school as you. Karen and I got married in St. Xavier Catholic Church in Cincinnati, which I believe was in Deer Park.
