The new Emancipation Proclamation

Over the years, Congress has passed marriage, immigration, and healthcare laws signed into law by presidents who were Democrats.
Years later, another Democratic Party President said he simply didn’t like aspects of these laws, so he refused to enforce them as written.
End of story.
With the advent of a new year, I ponder President Obama’s imperial approach to the presidency. Perhaps Republicans can learn from him to undo a grave injustice when they regain power in 2017 …
