Obamacare “could cost us billions”
By Tom Quiner
No, the headline above doesn’t come from a conservative. It comes from one of the most liberal governors in the U.S., Jerry Brown, Governor of California.
Here is what he said:
“Great risks and uncertainties lie ahead. The federal government, the courts, or changes in the economy all could cost us billions.”
Obamacare, in particular, makes him nervous:
. “The ultimate costs of expanding our health-care system under the Affordable Care Act are unknown. Ignoring such known unknowns would be folly…,”
Here’s why we should all be worried. The misnamed Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, took up over 2000 pages. Now the bureaucrats are at work on it writing the regulations that will affect every one of our lives. Republicans say these mysterious people in the backrooms are up to 13,000 pages of new regulations already.
Obamacare has ushered in an era of uncertainty and complexity. When a liberal like Jerry Brown is worried, you know you should be worried, too.
