The Des Moines Register runs a Quiner’s Diner essay
By Tom Quiner
Thanks to the Des Moines Register for running last week’s essay, “Transcending Decency.”
The retitled piece (“Gosnell trial exposes myths of abortion”) appears in the morning edition of the Des Moines Register.
The Register’s readers tend to be left of center in the political spectrum. It will be interesting to see how they react to the essay.
In the meantime, we anxiously await the verdict of the jury.
Congrats! It’s like being freshly pressed.
Thank-you!
Congratulations!
Thank-you!
Thank you, Tom, for once again being such a clear, concise, voice of knowledge and reason for life! Congratulations for being published again.
We so need your voice in our culture of death!
Thanks for the kind words. The Gosnell verdict will be very interesting. I maintain that the human abortion industry loses whatever the verdict.
Congratulations, Tom. Remember that for every negative response posted, there are a hundred others that gave consideration to what you wrote.
Thanks for the reminder.
Congrats, sir!
I’d agree with Sally, except it sounds as if it’s more like being “Freshly Pressed” on the Huffington Post.
But still, if we don’t engage, we can’t win hearts and minds, which is what it’s all about.
Please let us know what happens…
Thanks for the kind words. The Register has run my essays off and on for the past three years or so. After a spell, I get enough people screaming that they like a cooling off period. I am particularly gratified that they ran this piece, as it is difficult to get pro life essays in the newspaper. Thanks for writing.
