I think there are many other ways that people “take lives”. I believe it’s more tragic when someone is “living dead” because of abuse or racism or poverty. This is a very “noble” sentiment, Ronald Reagan’s quote. Unfortunately I see many of our world’s problems created by religious dogma and some of the most judgmental people on the planet are very religious. It’s a shame.

No doubt, there are some judgmental religious people around. Just look at the Muslims. However, I would not equate poverty and racism with life-taking. Poverty is something to be alleviated. Many people who are born in poverty eventually die in prosperity. I agree whole heartedly that racism is repugnant, which is why this country has passed civil rights legislation. However, the killing of a human being in the womb because they are unwanted, or will be born into a bad situation, takes away their first human right, the right to life. Thanks for writing.

Thank you Tom for shouting loud and clear about the evil of Abortion, as for those who oppose our stand against it, if they were Aborted they would be silent now, are they sorry they were allowed to live, do they wish they had been Aborted too.

Perhaps they will also welcome compulsory Euthanasia when they are to much a burden on the economy, maybe they will even shorten the allowed time to live to 70 or 60 years, Wow I wouldn’t be here but who cares I could have been Aborted anyway Hmmmm I wonder what the going rate is for a life today, how much will the deposit be and will the repayments suite the average income.

Thanks, Anne. In the eyes of the human abortion crowd, the value of a human life is zero if it is not wanted.
