Hillary hysteria
By Tom Quiner
Hillary Clinton’s campaign must be in panic-mode.
Since July, Ms. Clinton’s support among DEMOCRATIC-LEANING WOMEN has dropped from 71% to 42%.
Chew on that number a moment.
Democrats are all about labels. They’re not interested in the “general welfare” as demanded in the preamble of our nation’s Constitution. Rather, they’re all about the special interest.
They cater to gays, blacks, women, green energy companies, climate change theologians as opposed to just plain ol’ fashioned Americans.
They slobbered all over the thought of electing the first Black American as president. And then the talk turned to electing the first woman president.
Merit, ability, and leadership aren’t what matters, it is the label.
But a funny thing happened to Hillary Clinton on her cakewalk to the White House: her prime constituency, women, are having a change of heart.
In just the last eight weeks, she has lost 29% of her support from these liberal women.
Perhaps these women are rethinking Ms. Clinton’s merit, ability, and leadership. Perhaps Ms. Clinton’s insufferable haughtiness and lack of character is taking a toll.
May I give you an example?
Here in Iowa, in a speech on Monday at the University of Northern Iowa, Ms. Clinton intoned that sexual assault survivors have a right to be believed.
[As someone who knows many sexual assault survivors, I appreciate the sentiment.]
However, Clinton doesn’t mean it.
She’s a phony.
When victims of sexual assault at the hands of her husband came forward, not only did she not believe them, she tried to destroy them.
Just ask Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, Eileen Wellstone, Carolyn Moffet, Sandra Allen James, Christy Zercher, Kathleen Willey, to name a few of the women who have credibly accused Hillary Clinton’s husband of sexual assault.
Hillary Clinton said these victims did NOT have a reason to be believed.
Hillary’s liberal women supporters watched what happened to Bill Cosby, the beloved television star. A woman said Cosby drugged her and raped her. Then another came forward … and another.
When dozens of women come forward claiming sexual assault, women (and men, too) tend to believe that the man is guilty. You know the old saying, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
When you pile Hillary’s e-mail deceit on top of disingenuous apologies and phony lamentations on behalf of sexual assault survivors, well, you’re left with a very unattractive candidate.
Hillary is losing her base.
Perhaps integrity actually matters more than liberal labels.
And Nov. 2016 proved this true!
