You know I think sometimes, people don’t realize what is going on in America and they just vote on things because a certain political figure or American Icon said to do it. Sometimes I wonder if most American’s are not just turning into robots and allowing other people to make decisions for them as they meander through life. Life is real, it is happening now, and we have to take responsibility for our actions…plus there are so many hurting children and people here in America that need our help, instead of throwing money at silly technological advancements – even though they are good – we need to help those in need. I mean, am I wrong on this? Someone please explain.

You’ve said a mouthful. This latest example of Planned Parenthood outrage against the dignity of life should be a rallying cry, but I bet the MSM doesn’t give it much press. Thanks for writing. Come again.

You are not wrong. I echo your exact sentiments. Blessings.

I agree. We have become a robotic populace, thanks to political correctness. This new way of life has stifled our voices to such an extreme as to muddle our thought process, inability to interject, unable see things for what they really are, and hear spoken lies, as truths. They tell us that good is bad, and we accept it. They say that bad is good, and we swallow that lie. They tell us that they have a better way, will look after us, and we bow down to this false gods. Thankfully, it’s only a minority, but because of the powers that be, this minority seems to be winning the war. Thank God He is on our side, and goodness will prevail. Blessings.

This is how I see it, Tom. There is a reason why we were chosen to live in such a time as this. There is a reason why we have been tapped with the truths of our time while so many of our fellow citizens just go along to get along. God is working in our midst and we have been tapped to build up His kingdom here on earth. We, those of us who have accepted His grace with humility, must get to work and do what we can to mitigate the social atrocities like abortion and same sex discrimination against Christianity, We, those of us who are filled with the Holy Spirit, must act.

We really are in a spiritual battle for lives and for souls. If we sit and hope that somebody else will do the hard work, then we are not worthy of the grace that has brought us this far into the truth. The others, well there are many people on earth who do not have the knowledge and wisdom that we were given. Those others, for various reasons to include their disrespect of God, have had the knowledge of the higher truths removed from them. They are the robots who live for the temporary pleasures. It is possible for us to revert to that status, to become what we once were. It is more than possible if we do not act on the graces and fulfill our mission. We are the Church militant for our time. So let’s take steps such as talk to our local Church pastor about what we see that needs to change; send our articles about the PP atrocities to all the Republican candidates for the presidential nomination; join our local rosary brigades on the street corners; and contribute financially or otherwise volunteer for the organizations that fight our battles in Washington.

The secular humanists, who include many of our CINO brothers and sisters, have joined with the elite left (media, Hollywood, government, universities, etc) to win the temporal war (which is God’s kingdom on earth) because they are united (as one) in their nefarious propositions. We, the classically timid and decorous conservatives, who keep to ourselves much more than the elites, are averse to taking group action. So we don’t have the numbers and the fervor which is not to say that there aren’t some amazing leaders in the movement. We just don’t coalesce like those whose passions and obsessions are counter-cultural (or what used to be cultural, anyway). I see much more evil than good in the things that matter most to our faith.

Thanks for your articulate response. Very well said.
