Golfer Sergio Garcia mimics President Obama

This humble blog has occasionally been critical of President Obama’s fiscal policy, social policy, foreign policy, and veracity.

You might say that Quiner’s Diner views Mr. Obama as being “up a tree” when it comes to his presidency.

“Up a tree” is an English idiom which means “in a difficult situation.” Mr. Obama has put himself and our once great nation in an extremely difficult situation by advancing policy that denies traditional American values.

Let us use a golfing metaphor since the president is an avid golfer. The Obama presidency is like a duck-hook drive that ends up with your ball stuck up a tree.

Golfer Sergio Garcia demonstrates how difficult it is to extricate oneself from such a position in the shot he made yesterday in The Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Tournament in Florida. Watch the video above for the all the action.

The lesson: it’s easier to score when you drive the ball straight rather than to the Left.

[The tournament ends today. Tiger Woods leads by three. Sergio Garcia was forced to withdraw yesterday due to stress his tree escapade did to his shoulder and leg. Hope the president was watching.]

Let’s hope Obama gets a 9.8 on the dismount too. 🙂

Sergio looked pretty good with his dismount!

    Love the analogy!

Sad though, that the play caused him to drop out.

I suspect that was an excuse. He was playing poorly and may have been frustrated. Nonetheless, thanks for the kind words. By the way, Tiger Woods went on to win the tournament today and return to #! in the world rankings.
