Iowa Democrats pray for more human abortion

By Tom Quiner

I’ll be back praying in front of Planned Parenthood next month.

I’m part of an international movement called 40 Days for Life. We simply stand in front of these human abortion factories and pray.

That’s it.

It works. Factories are closing everywhere. God is intervening on the hearts and minds of men and women everywhere. but he is particularly active in our nation’s youth. They are becoming very pro life.

You can see the problem for Planned Parenthood whose financial viability is contingent on a never-ending stream of pregnant customers. Their future customers are increasingly rejecting Planned Parenthood’s lies. Their future customers are flocking to Marches for Life everywhere, more than 600,000 of them in Washington D.C. alone.

You can also see the problem for Democrats. They depend on Planned Parenthood for money and votes. But Planned Parenthood’s clout rests on a precarious perch. Even the words “pro choice” are now out of vogue. And more and more people are recognizing that the term “women’s reproductive health” is a bunch of bull when it rolls from the lips of a Democrat.

What to do? Well, pray of course!

Democrats and Planned Parenthood are increasingly trying to con God into turning the human abortion spigot back on. In a public display so blatantly cynical that you would expect huge media coverage, Iowa Democrats gathered last year  with the cameras rolling … to pray:

We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care.”

“We pray for increased financial support for low-income women to access contraception, abortion and childcare.”

“Today, we pray for women in developing nations, that they may know the power of self-determination. May they have access to employment, education, birth control and abortion.”

“Today we pray for the families who have chosen. May they know the blessing of choice.”

As an exclamation point to the crassness of this phony ploy, Democratic candidate for governor, Jack Hatch broke into applause.

Interestingly, the media ignored this juicy, little story. I think they wanted to protect Dems from themselves.

I’m heading to Mass now for some real prayers on behalf of the pre born.

And I’m praying for the deluded folks who promote human abortion to see the light. I really think they will some day.

    Hi Tom,

Good article. I always enjoy your work.

I noted in this article you mention that the words “pro-life” are out of vogue. Did you mean to say “pro-choice” ? The reason I ask is because that term has become synonymous with abortion and the murderers of the unborn are attempting to re-market themselves. If I’m misunderstanding your comment let me know.

Blessings to you for all you do to enlighten us! On Aug 31, 2014 8:18 AM, “A Heapin’ Plate of Conservative Politics &

Rhonda, thanks for catching my error. I meant to say “pro choice” is falling out of favor. And thanks for reading and commenting.
