Hillary Clinton’s disturbing defense of a child rapist
By Tom Quiner
Conservatives loathe Hillary Clinton for her lack of integrity.
Liberals say integrity doesn’t matter.
Now that she has officially announced her presidential candidacy, her party’s disregard of integrity will be put to the test. Will the public really look the other way and ignore her historic litany of lies and perversion of the public trust?
It’s hard to ignore her aversion to integrity in light of one scandal after another in her public career. No need to review them today. This blog has discussed them before.
What is disturbing is her defense of the rapist of a twelve year old girl during her legal career. Some could say that Ms. Clinton was simply doing her job getting a client off whom she knew raped the young girl, ruining the child’s life.
Ms. Clinton’s cavalier attitude toward this tragic case, which you can hear below, reveals a heartlessness and cruelty that is hard to shake.
Watch Judge Jeanine above for her reaction to Hillary’s handling of the case.
Below, you can listen to Ms. Clinton’s description of the case in this recently uncovered interview from the 1980s .
I listened to this a few months ago, and found her nonchalent collusion nauseating.
Yes, it really is disturbing.
A defense lawyer 40 years ago actually defended her client. Oh the horror.
This kind of stuff may be good for ratings at Fox News, but it only hurts Republican credibility.
Bruce, I do understand where you’re coming from. I guess what bothers me is the way Ms. Clinton attacked the victim, a 12 year old girl, even to the point of laughing it off. Her awareness that her client cheated the polygraph to avoid jail time for such a heinous crime kind of weakens her case that she’s for the little guy. I agree that none of this will phase a hardcore Democrat, but I think a lot of independent voters would find it alarming. Thanks for writing and sharing your views.
Bruce, I mostly agree here. I would prefer that conservatives simply wait for her next true scandal than to be seen replaying old tapes. There is nothing new here.
You’re absolutely right, Lee.
One of the telling points is that she admits she did it as a favor. Isn’t that what she’s all about? Trading favors for her own benefit
