Let’s reframe the question

By Tom Quiner

I like the trend.

Conservatives are beginning to reframe the gotcha questions the mainstream media is hurling at conservatives in an effort to trap them.

Rand Paul brilliantly deflected an abortion-related question meant to challenge pro lifers. When asked about exceptions for rape and incest, which reflects less than one percent of all human abortions in this country, he refused to answer until Democrats answered his question:

“Why don’t we ask the DNC: Is it OK to kill a 7-pound baby in the uterus?”

Instead of being defensive, he went on the offensive.

Liz Cheney did the same.

The MSM is hounding Republicans to explain if, knowing what we know today, should we have invaded Iraq?

Ms. Cheney suggests Republicans go on the offensive with this counter question for Hillary Clinton:

“Knowing what we know now, would you still have abandoned Iraq?”

Of course, Ms. Clinton is working overtime to duck the press, but this is a question she must answer.

I hope Republicans press the issue.

It’s about time! The conservatives beat the pants off the liberals in the mid-terms and I haven’t seen many things change. We have to stop being such wimps.
