The Planned Parenthood "goo" lie

Karen and I took our 2 year old grandson to the CelebrAsian Festival this afternoon.
We soaked up some wonderful Asian culture and cuisine. As we strolled past the various booths, we came upon the Iowans for Life tent. Evidently, we just missed a representative from Planned Parenthood who had popped in to challenge them.
She gloated that she had a PHD and knew what was best for women. She was offended that Iowans for Life had models of the pre born at various levels of development on display which reveals their humanity.

Iowans for Life educates adults and children on the sanctity of human life

Kids flock to these displays. The young ones point and say, “ooh baby.”
To the PHDs and  their liberal celebrity supporters, it is “goo.”
Through the eyes of a child, untainted as they are by the craven culture of death, it is a baby, a person.
No wonder Planned Parenthood is offended. The young are turning their backs on abortion because of the efforts of groups like Iowans for Life. Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion  are taking a financial hit as abortion factories close and cut back on their hours.
God bless Iowans for Life for the making the world a little bit better today. Visit their website today.
Better yet, make a contribution. This group is changing the world.
One more thing: tweet this blogpost and post it on your Facebook page. Spread the word about Iowans for Life.

My son (now 29) was a very late talker as a child. I didn’t worry about it, because he was a) the second child and b) a boy, both of which predisposed him to be a late talker. But because he was also very large for his age, people who didn’t know better always assumed he was much older than he really was, and they thought there was something wrong with his brain. One day when he was about two years old, I left a book lying around that had a photograph on the cover of an unborn child at about 11 or 12 weeks gestation. When my son saw it, his face lit up and he pointed at it and said “Baby!” Obviously, there was nothing wrong with his brain at all.

I hope a culture of liberalism hasn’t corroded his critical thinking skills which were so sharp at age two!
