Imagine a Broadway play that mocks Islam.

It shouldn’t be hard to imagine, should it? After all, Broadway lavished praise on the musical called the Book of Mormon by honoring it with 9 Tony Awards.

The Book of Mormon was written by the guys behind the animated TV hit series, South Park. Their mocking take on Mormonism was wildly popular, because it is politically correct to mock a conservative religion. To their credit, the Mormon leadership took the high ground and even ran ads in the playbills around the country encouraging theater goers to “read the real book…”

He knew how work with people, to really “reach across the aisle” and hammer out compromise. He got 37 Democratic Senators to vote with him on his historic tax cut legislation along with 48 Democrats in the House. Contrast that with Obama who couldn’t get a single Republican to vote with him on Obamacare, since he excluded them from the conversation.

Detroit Lions fans have a pretty good reason to be bitter about this loss. Here is the bright spot in this whole affair: Lions coach Jim Caldwell responded with total class.
If Barack Obama had been head coach, is there any doubt that he would have been blaming the officiating for the loss? Oh … and he’d be blaming George W. Bush for it. After all, he blamed Bush everything else…
