Perhaps the specter of Margaret Sanger was even too much for our brazen president. President Obama, who has never met an abortion regulation he liked, pulled out of being the keynote speaker at a huge Planned Parenthood fundraising event.

The Margaret Sanger Award is Planned Parenthood’s highest honor. Named for their founder, the award goes to a person who has demonstrated a “lifelong commitment to empowering women and men to talk openly and honestly about sex and sexual health.” President Obama will be the keynote speaker.
