Man of Steel
Here’s the quick question: is the blockbuster new movie, Man of Steel, entertaining?
Yes. Did I love it? No.
The pornography of abortion
Words of wisdom from pornographer, Larry Flynt: “Sarah Palin is the dumbest thing. She did a disservice to every woman in America. She knew from the first month of pregnancy that kid was going to be Down’s Syndrome. It’s brain dead. A virtual vegetable. She carries it to all these different political events against abortion, she did it just because she didn’t want to say she’d had an abortion. How long is it going to live? Another 12, 15 years? Doesn’t even know it’s in this world. So what kind of compassionate conservative is she? I don’t think anybody will want her near the White House.”
Here is what is sacred to Nancy Pelosi
Should we keep late-term human abortion legal? Yes, according to Nancy Pelosi. She left no wiggle room, calling it “sacred ground.”
Welcome to a world in need of love, sweet love
A family I love just gave birth to their fifth child. They were caught by surprise when the doctor told them that Molly was special. She carries an extra chromosome, which has been dubbed the “Love Chromosome.”
U.S. Open preview
By Tom Quiner This is amazing: Tiger Woods wins one out of every four tournaments he enters. Mr. Woods has won more major tournaments than any golfer but Jack Nicklaus. He has won only 8% of the tournaments…
“Keep your faith to yourself” … only if you’re Christian
The winds of change are here. The First Amendment is passe’. Christianity is being targeted by federal and state governments at the same time they coddle Islam.
A slice of heaven on earth
“What is the Holy Family Shrine?” my wife and I wondered? We were en route to a wedding in Lincoln, Nebraska. Somewhere between Omaha and Lincoln we saw a sign for the Shrine and could see it standing majestically off the interstate. We made a mental note to leave time to stop on the way back. It was worth it.
