A message of reason
By Tom Quiner The use of the verb “hate” by supporters of various liberal causes is intended as an act of censorship. It immediately shuts down what could’ve been be a fruitful conversation between honorable people. Thanks to the great Protestant pastor, Rick Warren, for spreading a message of reason in an age of unreason.
Korea should be a campaign issue
Time for you to brush up on your Korean War history.
Korea is in the news for many reasons. For one, North Korea is developing missiles that can hit the U.S. with a nuclear weapon.
For another, two candidates for president are suggesting that we reduce our presence in South Korea…
A little dose of irony
Hillary Clinton responds.
Speaking in Cleveland, she reacted to this weekend’s tragic massacre in Orlando at the hands of another Islamic extremist.
A couple of things hit me. Here is one:
Be a man, Mr. President
“You have cancer.”
The man was shaken by these words from his doctor.
“What kind of cancer do I have, Doc? Is it Lung cancer? Prostate cancer? Pancreatic?”
With the flick of a hand, the doctor dismissed the question.
“That’s not what matters. Here’s what does matter. You’re responsible. And so am I. And so are all of us. Our attitudes towards the LGBTQ community has brought you to this.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” the exasperated patient sputtered. “You’ve just told me I’ve got cancer cells growing somewhere in my body. How should we treat it? Chemo? Surgery? Radiation? What do my views on any issue have to do with anything?”
