Here’s what happened at last night’s Republican debate
Messrs. Cruz and Rubio were both put in hot seats, to the delight of Jeb Bush, as each were confronted with gotcha video clips highlighting their apparent flip flops on immigration issues. The three man dust-up was messy.
So who won?
What I said to a friend who switched her support from Rubio to Cruz
I received an e-mail from a friend who is concerned about the direction of our country.
At one point, she supported Marco Rubio in this campaign cycle, but has just switched her allegiance to Ted Cruz. She likes Cruz because he is a pro life Christian conservative.
For the record, so is Marco Rubio.
She opposes Trump, but now thinks Mr. Cruz is the best candidate. She asked what I thought. Here is how I replied:
Will the weather favor Trump or Cruz?
The great quarterback, Peyton Manning, isn’t so great when the weather gets cold.
His record is 0-5 in play-off games when the temperature at game time is 40 degrees or less.
I see a comparison with the upcoming Iowa caucuses. Donald Trump is a warm weather team; Ted Cruz has a cold weather team.
It’s time to stand up to the bullies
Liberals are kicking every day Americans in the teeth every … single … day. And getting away with it.
They are gutting America before our very eyes … and … getting … away … with … it.
They use shame, intimidation, and straight forward threats to stifle contrarian positions, which they dismiss as ‘hate speech.’
And they get away with it…

I like Chris Christie, but I don’t like his take on the pro life movement.
