Our Lady of Guadalupe for atheists

By quinersdiner | December 12, 2013

I’d like to present a fascinating mystery for my readers who are atheists.
The day was December 9th, 1531. It was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception in the Spanish Empire.
A peasant by the name of Juan Diego was walking and encountered the vision of a teenage girl bathed in light.
She asked the peasant to have a church built on this site in her name.
Who was she?

Our so-called "liberal" pope says we should die, if that's what it takes, in opposing human abortion

A very politically-incorrect tweet

By quinersdiner | December 11, 2013

Larry Elder is black.
Is that politically incorrect to say? Larry wouldn’t mind because he is also a conservative. He knows that we fellow conservatives judge people by the content of their character, NOT the color of their skin.
In other words, he’s not offended by things that are not offensive, in contrast to liberals who seem to only be offended by the inoffensive …

An Advent prayer for a pagan world

By quinersdiner | December 11, 2013

Paganism is flourishing in America and around the world.
This heathen religion takes a number of forms. For some, it is a sort of worship of nature, as expressed by this person who wrote to Dear Abby in the morning’s paper …

"The whole world is waiting for love"

By quinersdiner | December 10, 2013

The lesbians spit on the praying men.
The men continued their prayer:
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.”
The self-proclaimed lesbians stripped off their tops to expose their bare breasts.
The men closed their eyes. Some covered their eyes with their hands. Their prayer continued:
“Blessed art thou among women … “

“Where the heck is that lousy-stinkin’ chair?!”
The scene is the Quiner household on Thanksgiving evening. The mass of humanity that had filled our home on this day of sacred thanksgiving was slowly dwindling.
Twenty-three friends and family, along with two toddlers and one baby, had lit our home up with love. Our house isn’t large, so we were packed in.
Seating was an issue, so we borrowed four folding chairs from our neighbors across the street …

Pope Francis rejects Catholicism and becomes a Secular Humanist!

By quinersdiner | December 10, 2013

Progressives/liberals love Pope Francis.
For the record, so do I. Any Pope who has liberals talking about the tenets of Catholicism is doing some serious evangelizing.
Keep up the work, Pope Francis! But Progressives/liberals (and whatever label they go by next month) are working overtime to twist his words into suggesting he is saying something new …

Who decides?

By quinersdiner | December 9, 2013

The liberal philosophy brings to mind their view on slavery in a different era. A slave law written in 1662 said that “all children born in this country shall be held bond or free ONLY according to the condition of their mother.”

The minimum wage is a cruel joke

By quinersdiner | December 7, 2013

The minimum wage issue is an easy one.
If you force an employer to pay someone more than they’re worth, that employer will hire fewer people. Worse, he may let employees go.
The minimum wage is a cruel piece of legislation because it deprives young workers of entry-level employment opportunities …

GENIUS! Democrats rename Obamacare

By quinersdiner | December 6, 2013

The dawn of another weekend is upon us.
Let us together sit back, kick up our feet on our desk (just as our president has shown us), and enjoy some light-hearted conservative news, straight from the mouth of a babe.
Jodi Miller, that is.
Jodi has delicious, juicy news that will make you feel proud to be a conservative…

The aloof CEO in the White House

By quinersdiner | December 6, 2013

“How could any president put his entire reputation on the line with a program and not be on the phone every day pushing people and making sure it will work? Do you know of any president who wouldn’t do that?””
